Se p 20 01 In medium T - matrix for superfluid nuclear matter
نویسنده
چکیده
We study a generalized ladder resummation in the superfluid phase of the nuclear matter. The approach is based on a conserving generalization of the usual T -matrix approximation including also anomalous self-energies and propagators. The approximation here discussed is a generalization of the usual mean-field BCS approach and of the in medium T -matrix approximation in the normal phase. The numerical results in this work are obtained in the quasiparticle approximation. Properties of the resulting self-energy, superfluid gap and spectral functions are studied. 21.65+f, 24.10Cn, 26.60+c

MACHe3 (MAtrix of Cells of superfluid Helium 3) is a project of non-baryonic Dark Matter search using superfluid 3 He as sensitive medium. Simulations on a high granularity matrix show very good rejection against background events. First results on a prototype cell are very encouraging. Neutron detection has been highlighted as well as cosmic muon detection. A phenomenological study has been do...
متن کاملSuperfluidity with dressed nucleons
The gap equation with dressed propagators is solved in symmetric nuclear matter. Nucleon self-energies are obtained within the self-consistent in medium T matrix approximation. The off-shell gap equation is compared to an effective quasiparticle gap equation with reduced interaction. At normal density, we find a reduction of the superfluid gap from 6.5MeV to 0.45MeV when self-energy effects are...
متن کاملA ug 2 00 5 Spectral properties of nuclear matter
We review self-consistent spectral methods for nuclear matter calculations. The in-medium T −matrix approach is conserving and thermodynamically consistent. It gives both the global and the single-particle properties the system. The T −matrix approximation allows to address the pairing phenomenon in cold nuclear matter. A generalization of nuclear matter calculations to the superfluid phase is ...

We present a method to calculate nuclear matter properties in the superfluid phase. The method is based on the use of self-consistent off-shell nucleon propagators in the T-matrix equation. Such a complete treatment of the spectral function, is required below and around Tc due to a pseudogap formation in the spectral function. In the superfluid phase we introduce the anomalous self-energy in th...
